The objective of this course is to provide students with a Bac+3 level training allowing them (1) a progressive acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in the marine field (marine biology, oceanography, microbiology, fishing and aquaculture, biodiversity and the marine environment, etc.), (2) professional integration, through the acquisition of skills leading to high employability, or (3) preparation for the continuation of their master's studies. The training is intended only for students holding a scientific baccalaureate (series C and D or equivalent) . The License cycle is carried out in three years. Two courses are offered from the third year: the Fisheries/Aquaculture and Quality course , and the Management of Biodiversity and Marine Environment course .
Each year is divided into two teaching semesters; the first and second years include Fundamental Teaching Units of marine bioecology, chemistry, thermodynamics, microbiology (general and applied), mathematics and computer science, communication technology (English and French). The third year is focused on specialization subjects (Fisheries, Product Valorization, Product Quality and HACCP, Aquaculture, GIZC, GIS, Marine Ecotoxicology) and ends with a three-month internship, in the field, in company or in a laboratory.

Each student must complete a 3-month practical internship to finalize their Bachelor's degree course. This practical internship has two objectives: on the one hand, to break in the student (with a professional vocation) to his future job in a private company or in a public institution.
