Course Description
The demand for fish in domestic and international markets is increasing rapidly due to population growth, urbanization, increasing income and propensity to consuming fish. Considering limited supply from capture fishery, developing aquaculture to meet the demand for fish is thus crucial. The skills gap needs to be filled, and thus an urgent need for revising existing aquaculture curriculum in order to strengthen relevant areas such as fish nutrition, water quality monitoring, as well as compliance with environmental standards. Also, to broaden its scope and reinforce key areas including cage farming and other intensive resource-efficient technologies.

Admission Requirements
Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) passes in non-religious subjects
OR
Possession of National Vocation Award (NVA) III or Trade Test Grade I in related fields and Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE).
